First Prize in the Recitation
12 Feb 2026 This achievement was a long time in the making. The theme was "The Superhero in You," and it truly took a heroic effort from the whole family. While on a trip to the US, Ira’s mom spent a late, tired night drafting the speech, and Ira matched that dedication with weeks of hard practice. After clearing the initial section-level selections, Ira was shortlisted as one of the final three to take the big stage. With parents in the audience and the pressure on, she delivered a high-energy, 1.5-minute performance that earned her the First Prize certificate. We couldn't be prouder of her grit and delivery!
